1 review for How to Survive Winter (Full Score)
Melinda Imthurn –
An excellent multi-movement work for winter concerts! These are beautiful settings of incredible winter-themed poetry. While loss and sadness are themes, the work ends with an exciting and vivid fourth movement that had our audience on its feet. My non-professional community chorus found this work to be a moving experience and a worthwhile vocal/musical challenge. Its poetic and musical themes are a welcome departure from the typical winter/holiday music. This work is approximately 12 minutes and uses string quartet.
