New art songs available
We are very excited to have added new
art songs from two new composers to our catalog. Dog
Tales by California composer Jenni
Brandon is a funny, poetic, and moving tribute to the
furry friends we love. The cycle is written for soprano, flute, clarinet
and piano, and movement III. Dig (Chloe) is
available separately for soprano and piano.
We are also thrilled to welcome new composer Paul
J. Rudoi. The first
work we've published of Paul's is a cycle for high voice and piano
entitled Child of the Heartless
Wind. These six movement are set to poems by Sara
Teasdale, and it's a great cycle for an advanced performer.
As always, we have recordings and complete preview pdfs to help you
learn about the music.
New choral piece
by Timothy C. Takach
We have added a new piece by Timothy
C. Takach called
"Neither Angels, Nor Demons, Nor
Powers." A piece originally commissioned
by a high school in Topeka, KS, this song has already been performed by
Apollo High School choir, a MN church choir, the Wingate University Chamber
Choir and the National Lutheran Choir! Preview the score, listen to an
audio clip, and see why this piece is making it's way across the country.
